Airbrush Step by Step (english) Magazine
30 March 2017

Do you remember the time, 2 years ago... .…at the International Airbrush Days 2015? It feels like yesterday, but 24 months passed since the event took place. And now, the International Airbrush Days 2017 are just around the corner. A similar range of artists can only be found in the US at the Airbrush Getaways; the concept of the Airbrush Days is unique. While you usually have to decide for one workshop and one lecturer, you will have the opportunity to learn from all artists at the Airbrush Days. Three of this year’s artists, namely Gear Duran, Rod Fuchs and Alan Pastrana will teach for the very first time in Germany, some of them even in Europe. You shouldn’t miss the chance of attending the International Airbrush Days 2017, because in this special form they will never take place again. A couple of tickets are still available, so check out the website www.airbrush-days.com! People who are still not convinced should have a look at the works of the two IAD lecturers Alan Pastrana and Rod Fuchs in this issue. Barney Nikolic participates at the International Airbrush Days as well. In the interview, he talks about his fascinating work as a Special FX Make-up Artist. Moreover, we will have a look at Malaysia in this issue where Raj from Tanado Airbrush can keep up with his American colleagues in terms of Automotive Painting. We will also show you T-Shirt-Airbrush from Spain. Hugo Maciel is airbrushing Darth Vader. Airbrush beginners should focus on the “Toolbox”-article in this issue, which sheds light on diverse compressors: what are the differences between the compressors on the market, what to pay attention to, which qualities should a compressor have? When it comes to the purchase, a useful graphic should help you to decide which compressor is best for you. As you see: there is a lot going on in this Airbrush Step by Stepissue and beyond! Maybe we see each other at the end of April in Hamburg. We would be delighted if you participate at the Airbrush Days 2017! See you, Your ASBS Team
