Airsoft Action Magazine
5 April 2018
Welcome to the 87th issue of The Players' Choice Best Airsoft Magazine! IWA is probably the most important show for airsoft outside of the Far East and, once again, the Airsoft Action team was there to bring you all the news, views and gossip on what the world of airsoft has in store for us. Read our 5-page report starting on Page 24. In "The Armoury" we spotlight three very different guns, in the form of Umarex's HK416 GBB, ASG's CZ SP-01 "Grey" and LCT's Vityaz-SN - all tried and tested by AA writers. We know that safety is paramount in airsoft and none more so than protecting our eyesight. Wiley X is a well-respected manufacturer of military-grade eye protection and "Tactical Optician", Andy Bourne, checks out some of their range suited to airsoft. Seeing an opponent before they see you is an important part of winning and, crossing over from "real steel", Sightmark Optics are designed to do just that. Bill Thomas gives us an overview of this "new to airsoft" brand and also, along with Femme Fatale, outlines the "Second Line Gear" they will be carrying as part of "Project Crete". Site-wise, we visit a vast new site in Staffordshire, called "The Kingdom", re-visit "Stormforce Airsoft" where new players are more than welcome and head down to South Africa, where Alpine Airsoft are creating a huge stir with "Razor's Edge" - you most definitely do not want to miss it! Bringing new players into the game is how it continues to thrive and Gadge calls upon his many years of experience to offer some excellent advice on putting your first load-out together - and to help with that, on Page 67 we are giving away a "First Time Player's Kit" courtesy of NUPROL, including a NUPROL PIONEER DEFENDER! On top of all that, of course we still have all our regular columns and features for you to read and enjoy. Thanks for reading Airsoft Action - and for making us Number One for the second year running! The Airsoft Action Team.
