The magazine for you

One of the absolute best things about editing this fine gem of a magazine, is knowing that no matter the weather, or what is going on in the world, we are able to bring together, in a flurry of enthusiasm, the latest gardening ideas, news and inspiration every fortnight just for you. What a fantastic team we have, all deeply connected with the rich legacy of AG and excited about its potential for the future. The magazine has a truly friendly, family feel which I hope shines through on these pages. We do aim to be the friendliest magazine of, and for, keen gardeners everywhere, so your ideas and inspiration will continue to be key.

I do genuinely take on board every idea that is sent in and it is absolutely integral for the magazine to remain open and fresh. Even if we can’t embrace a suggestion immediately or logistically, the more we know what you would like to see, and the more demand there is in a certain area, the more we can provide it. So please keep your lovely ideas coming, they are always a delight to receive.

Speaking of which, I think it’s high time we got to know a little more about you and some of your gardens in the pages of the magazine. If you like the idea of potentially having your garden profiled then please email or write in. I won’t be prescriptive here, but it would be fascinating to find out how you garden, the history of your precious outdoor space and what it means to you. If you have a few tips to offer to readers as well, we’d love to hear them.

If you would like to be featured, please send us 500-800 words or thereabouts about your garden, with some photos. There is no time frame for this, we’d just like to get to know you on an ongoing basis, and we’ll offer a complimentary year’s subscription to the magazine for each profile that we are able to share in print.

If you do take part, please provide your contact details so we can get back to you if we are able to include your garden. Unfortun
