“UNFORTUNATELY I’D FORGOTTEN MY SCALES!”
“ON A RECENT trip to a Midlands stillwater I landed three good perch, all of which were probably over my 3lb 15oz personal best, but unfortunately I’d forgotten my scales!
“I did measure them at 50cm, 48cm and 46cm, and all were in great condition – the 50cm fish being particularly fat.

I was really pleased to catch it in such tough weather conditions!”

“IT WAS a cold day – perfect for pike fishing – so my dad, Ricky, and I headed to Pasture Wood Fishery in Lincolnshire.
“Targeting the Canal Pond, I floatfished a smelt, and within half-an-hour of fishing this pike took a liking to the bait!
“It was landed after a short battle and weighed 21lb 8oz – my new PB, and bigger than any pike my dad has caught!”

“I WAS SHOCKED TO HOOK A PIKE”
“I WENT carp fishing at Swanborough Lakes in Kent and had only caught two bream – but ultimately I was in for a surprise. “I had a feeling the fishing would be hard, and on the final morning every other angl
