FEAT.SUKA HORN, DIMITRIS PAPAIOANNOU

After the success of dance-theatre productions The Great Tamer and Transverse Orientation, Greek director, choreographer and visual artist Dimitris Papaioannou returns to Sadler’s Wells Theatre for the UK premiere of INK. Set in a dark water world, this hyper-visual show sees Papaioannou and dancer Šuka Horn engage in a battle between old and young, father and son, civilisation and wasteland, stewardship and inheritance, and eroticism and torture. Papaioannou has described INK as “an unexpected sequel” to Primal Matter, his London debut back in 2016.

INK runs at Sadler’s Wells Theatre from 28 February to 2 March

ENTER THE DRAGON

Hublot has collaborated with artist Chen Fenwan to produce a limited-edition watch to mark the year of the Wood Dragon in the Chinese calendar. Inspired by the traditional Chinese art of paper-cutting, the Spirit of Big Bang Titanium Dragon timepiece features hands, wheels and H-shape screws that are layered to create a sculpted 3D silhouette of a dragon. The rubber strap boasts a marquetry design that mimics the mythical creature’s scales and is colour-matched to the watch face. Hublot has only made 88 of the Spirit of Big Bang Titanium Dragon timepieces, and its design is pure (dragon) fire.
