MINI Countryman

HOT off the back of a recent road-test victory over the Volvo XC40 (Issue 1,828), the latest member of our test fleet has arrived: a new MINI Countryman. Our models is the C Exclusive (£31,840) finished in Smokey Green (£600) with 19-inch Kaleido Spoke two-tone wheels (£600).

The premium feel continues inside with the Level 3 option pack (£7,500), which includes an active driver’s seat featuring a massage function and two memory positions, a Harman Kardon surround-sound audio system, a large panoramic sunroof and sun-protection glass. It also brings the Driving Assistant Professional pack with a huge array of safety tech, internal and external cameras and radars that we’ll explore in coming reports. Creative director Darren Wilson will see how our premium SUV deals with family life in the coming months before we swap out of this petrol model into an electric version later in the year.
