They took the next step in their three-year relationship by moving in together two months ago, and now an insider has revealed that marriage could soon be on the cards for Davina McCall and her boyfriend, Michael Douglas. Five years after announcing her split from second husband Matthew Robertson, the Masked Singer judge is looking forward to spending her future with the hairdresser.
“Davina was always adamant she would take things slowly with Michael, as she wanted to be sure she was over her first marriage and that the kids always felt like they came first. But they’ve been together so long, it was inevitable that Michael would move in and they’re absolutely loving it,” a source told us.
“She feels really lucky to have found love again, and has gushed to pals that she and Michael feel like soul mates. They’re very harmonious together and everyone around them is excited about them making it official with a wedding. Perhaps they’ve been having conversations about whether or not they have to go through with it or just leave things as they are.” Their nuptials wouldn’t be a huge showbiz bash, but more of a secret affair with just family and friends. It would be the third wedding for Davina, who was previously married to presenter Matthew for 18 years, with whom she shares daughters Holly, 21, and Tilly, 19, and 16-year-old son Chester. Before that, she also had a tumultuous union with shop manager Andrew Leggett, which lasted less than a year.
