After spending 13 days in hospital as she recuperated from surgery, Kate Middleton returned home to Adelaide Cottage, Windsor, where she was welcomed by husband Prince William and their children George, Charlotte and Louis. The Princess of Wales was discharged on 29 January and is “making good progress” after her nearly two-week stay at the London Clinic, a private hospital in Marylebone, following a “planned” abdominal operation. Kate, 42, is due to take a few months off to put her feet up and recover and is not expected to resume royal duties until April, although she might surprise us and do some work from her bed. “Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter,” Kensington Palace said. Our source tells us that her family will be careful around her and respectful of her condition – the details of which have not been revealed. “In the early days of her coming home, they will tread very softly around her. The kids understand when she needs to rest and they will be very mindful and helpful of her needs, fetching whatever she needs, keeping her company, giving her cuddles and being gentle with her,” the in
