Kate bravely spoke out about her diagnosis

While the world continues to reel from Kate Middleton’s shock cancer diagnosis, we can reveal that her health battle has brought her closer than ever to her father-in-law King Charles.

Both the monarch and the Princess of Wales are currently undergoing treatment for unspecified cancers, which is said to have deepened their bond further. It comes after they were both treated at the London Clinic in January – Charles for an enlarged prostate and Kate for planned abdominal surgery.

It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK.” The princess, who assured that her “focus is on making a full recovery”, added, “I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal: in my mind, body and spirits. Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love and kindness that has been shown by so many of you.” Her brave and emotional message was praised by the King, who said that he is “so proud of Catherine for her courage in s
