As she recovers from cancer, sources tell Bella how Wills has been stepping up to be the doting husband

Returning to the public eye at Trooping the Colour earlier this month, Kate Middleton looked back to her best as she smiled and waved at fans. The Princess of Wales marked her comeback to public life for the first time in six months to celebrate King Charles’ official birthday alongside her husband Prince William and their children George, Charlotte and Louis.

And Kate couldn’t hide her love for her beloved husband as she gazed adoringly at him on the balcony. And a source has told Bella this is a clear sign of how much she’s relied on him over the past six months.

“William has been pampering her non-stop, making sure she’s got everything she possibly needs and keeping her spirits up with funny stories and jokes whenever they have down time. He will do anything for her,” the insider reveals. “They’ve been binge-watching TV series and movies, he brings her breakfast in bed most days, gives her foot rubs and neck massages and makes sure she has everything she needs, that she’s staying super hydrated and getting plenty of sleep and rest.”

The 42-year-old princess, who has been having preventative chemotherapy for cancer, announced that she would be making an appearance at the royal event two days prior through an official Instagram post. Sharing a photograph of herself in the gardens of her Norfolk home, Kate wrote, “I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days,” she revealed.

“On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well. My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.

“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but knowing I am not out of the woods yet,” she added.

As she praised her family for their support, it’s clear that William has been a huge rock to Kate. And sources tell Bella how he’s been spoiling her, as well as looking after George, ten, Charlotte, nine, and Louis, six.
