Daytime TV viewers are used to seeing Ruth Langsford all glammed up as the anchor of ITV lunchtime show LooseWomen.
But the 63-year-old wife of Eamonn Holmes recently gave fans a glimpse of her life away from the cameras, as she refreshingly revealed exactly what she looks like without the help of an expert hair and make-up team.
The mum-of-one was preparing to go back to work by organising her food for the week. And, after whipping up a tasty chicken tray from leftovers in her fridge, Ruth, who is mum to son Jack, 21, took to her Instagram account to show how she was keeping it real in every sense.
The presenter filmed a video of herself embracing her natural look, barefaced and wearing casual clothes – or in the TV host’s own words wearing ‘No make-up and hair scragged up’.
She then went on to tell her social media followers, ‘I’m not doing any kind of new year, new me thing.’
