World-renowned past lives expert David Wells is joining the best family to answer your questions on the spirit world – this week he’s chosen Annette George, 54. Annette is a retired solicitor’s receptionist, who lives near Inverness with her husband Matt, a HGV driver. Here, she tells us what came through in their encounter…
Hi Annette, have you always believed in the spirit world and past lives?
I first thought about past lives back in 1989 when I was on my way to Cyprus for a holiday! I’d always been fascinated by ghosts and when I spotted a novel called Lady of Hay by Barbara Erskine in the airport, I thought I’d give it a go. The characters had lots of past lives and I was obsessed with the way they intertwined with the present. I longed to know more about reincarnation – but of course there was no internet back then!
Talk us through your reading with David…
David saw me in a past life back in the 17th century, when I was a young man travelling on board a galleon. Out at sea, one of the crew deliberately pushed me overboard, which could trigger a fear of deep water in this life. David said this soul has likely been with me in other lives, including this one – so whenever I encounter them, the retained memory means I’ll try to please them all the time.
In a separate past life, he saw me being deliberately crushed around my middle by a huge weight of stone in Elizabethan times, possibly during the witch trials. David said this life could show itself today by a fascination with paganism, an intense dislike of crowds – and being drawn to the colour orange, and the energy centre in that part of the body (solar plexus chakra).
