We’ve made it through January and we can start to look forward to lighter, brighter, days ahead. And there are some brilliant beauty bargains to bring a smile to your face and put a spring in your step. This is the time for feel-good treats – cheering ourselves up with uplifting showers and long baths. Or splashing out on a new blusher or concealer to perk us up until the sun warms up again. And since everything is under £10, nothing here is going to break the bank – something else to feel good about!

Lacura Almond Coconut Honey Bath Nectar (£5.99, Aldi stores from 25 January)
There’s no chance of getting prune-like skin after soaking for too long in the tub with this in it. Designed to make bath time more luxurious, it has a nourishing blend of honey (a natural moisture magnet); sweet almond oil, and provitamin B5 to soften your skin.
This has been likened to the luxurious Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Honey Bath (£31.50, Space NK) and comes with a wooden honey dipper to give it five-star spa appeal. Just don’t be tempted to eat it!
3 NO-HASSLE HAIR HERO
Batiste 24H Fresh Dry Shampoo (£4.59, Boots)
Give yourself a break from the hassle of daily hair washing. This new dry shampoo will give you at least another day (if not two) from your blow dry. It freshens up your locks in seconds, absorbing extra oil and making it feel cleaner. My favourite tip (which I have shared before, it’s so good) is to spray the inside of your beanie hat with dry shampoo – it’s still the best way of preventing the dreaded flat hat hair.
