And now, former Spice Girl Geri Horner (previously known as Halliwell or, indeed, Ginger Spice) is faced with every married woman’s nightmare – on a very public scale.
Most likely torn between her head and heart, the mum-of-two – who’s been married to Red Bull’s Formula 1 team boss Christian Horner since 2015, has endured a humiliating few weeks, most particularly after inappropriate text messages alleged to be from her husband to a female colleague were leaked online.
The couple had already been under stress, as the former racing driver was subject to an internal investigation of inappropriate behaviour towards a colleague – which ended with him being cleared. Geri said she was ‘relieved and elated’ at the news.
However, just 24 hours later, WhatsApp messages allegedly between Geri’s husband and an unnamed woman were emailed to 149 individuals and then leaked to social media for all the world to see, just after Geri landed in Bahrain for the Grand Prix.
