Josie Gibson has opened up about her ongoing hunt for love – as well as the heartbreaking split that left her ‘devastated’
She’s known for wearing her heart on her sleeve, hosting This Morning and down-to-earth TV presenter Josie Gibson proved this once again when she recently opened up about her search for love.
During a discussion about dating apps with co-host Dermot O’Leary, single Josie, 39, confessed she would never go online to find romance.
‘This is why I don’t use apps – because I’ve met people I have not fancied at the beginning and then they’ve had that magic about them,’ she admitted. ‘And I’ve been in love, OK? And you will not get that from a picture that you are swiping past.’
Since, it’s been reported that Josie – who is a single mum to five-year-old son Reggie from her previous relationship with his dad Terry – is keen to find ‘the one’, but is understandably wary of apps as she thinks people may want to be with her for her fame alone.
It was also rumoured that she fears potential boyfriends could go on to sell stories about her, as she’s been ‘burned before’, with her exfiancé Luke Sanwo choosing to open up about their relationship while she was in the I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle.
