Loose Women’s outspoken Janet Street-Porter strikes again – and this time it’s her co-stars in the firing line

Janet Street-Porter is famed for not mincing her words, on everything from politics to public figures.
But the Loose Women panellist recently risked offending her co-stars, Coleen Nolan and Brenda Edwards, when she took aim at them during one of the show’s lively on-air discussions.
Janet, 77, and the rest of the line-up were talking about new ITV game show The Fortune Hotel, which has been described as a cross between mega-hit The Traitors and hotel thriller White Lotus.
In the show, hosted by Stephen Mangan, pairs of contestants are handed a briefcase with something different inside – ranging from an ‘early check out card’ to a whopping £250,000. The aim of the game is for the partners in crime to lie their way through the competition, until it’s them holding the winning briefcase.

And Janet was quick to point out that if she ever went on to the show, there were two people who would not be joining her – including Coleen who she deemed ‘too emotional’.
‘[I’d do it by] myself,’ Janet laughed. ‘I thought of doing it with Coleen, I thought of doing it with Brenda – but, in the end, if I’m brutally honest, I’d say, “give me double the fee, I’ll just do it by myself !”’
