AS YOU'RE NOW holding Issue 65 of Blocks, some quick maths tells us the mag wasn’t around in 2013. But if it was, we could have done a lot worse than handing a cover over to 70505 Temple of Light – or more specifically, NINJAGO’s original golden mech. Fortunately, the NINJAGO Legacy theme is one big second chance: for you to buy and build reimagined versions of classic models, and for us to give them the spotlight they deserve. And that’s exactly what we’ve done, because you’ll find reviews of each and every 2020 NINJAGO set squeezed into these refreshed and upgraded pages (did you notice?). But that’s not all we’ve been up to in the early months of the new decade. Graham’s been spending time with Camille Walala for DOTS, I’ve been catching up with a bunch of LEGO pros, and Daniel’s been busy building the second part of his UCS Star Destroyer interior. We’ve gone into detail on all those throughout another packed issue, which also includes our verdict on the latest modular building, a recap of the LEGO Group’s most tumultuous time period, and a seriously brilliant Baby Yoda build.
