Most popular birds at the zoo? Penguins – they always have been. Sadly beyond the resources of amateur birdkeepers, these wonderful birds can fortunately be enjoyed at close range in many larger establishments. And whether they are in an enclosure or frolicking among the Antarctic pack-ice, penguins have a life history that’s even more fascinating than their looks and antics. We major on this iconic family.
