MEADOW LAKES HOLIDAY PARK

With four on-site fishing lakes, Meadow Lakes is an ideal choice for a fishing break in the Cornish countryside near St Austell. The other non-fishing members of your group will love the fact that there’s plenty to keep them occupied, too. This includes a heated outdoor pool, a café with indoor and outdoor seating, a pet’s corner, a play area and tennis courts.

The four coarse lakes are free to fish during your stay and are surrounded by lots of wildlife and flora. The lakes are situated at the bottom of the site in tranquil surroundings, ranging in size and suitable for all abilities.

Pitches are grassed or paved hardstanding with electric hook-up and can accommodate larger vehicles. There are toilets, showers, private bathrooms, a laundry room, a shop, dog exercise area, and a motorhome waste point.

Under 20 minutes’ drive from the site are the attractions of the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.

If you’d like the luxury of a gravel or grass fully serviced, lakeside pitch with direct access to the water of a site’s fishing lake via a gate in the fencing of your pitch, then this is the site for you! As well as lakeside pitches, Warcombe Farm also has other fully serviced hardstandings, grass pitches with electric, some with sea views, and basic grass pitches with no services for small campervans. The site also has a 14-acre fenced off woodland walk and nature trail with access to the South West Coast Path, toilets and showers and a dog wash.

The coarse fishing lake is well-stocked with carp, tench, rudd and roach and you do not need your own licence to fish here. The on-site shop offers various fishing equipment to hire, too. If you prefer sea fishing, deep sea fishing trips leave from the harbour in nearby Ilfracombe.
