Bailey’s long-awaited Endeavour campervan range will be unveiled to the public at the Motorhome and Caravan Show.

The new Endeavour – Bristol-based Bailey’s first-ever campervan – is based on the Ford Transit and will have its public debut at the NEC in Birmingham between 17 and 22 October.

You can read the first review of this all-new model on page 64 where you’ll also find details of how to watch our exclusive video of this important new British-built campervan.

The first of the Endeavour range to be launched is the two-berth Endeavour B62 – which features a rear lounge with twin facing sofas that convert into beds at night. It's expected to cost just under £70,000 (exact prices will be confirmed at the October show) and will be joined soon after by the four-berth B64, which will have a pop-top roof and a front lounge and will also be under 6m long.

Both models have an MTPLM of 3,500kg, meaning they can be driven by anyone holding a full standard UK driving licence.

Bailey partnered with Ford Pro on this new model and buyers will get the more powerful 168bhp (170PS) diesel engine coupled to Ford’s latest six-speed automatic gearbox as standard. It also means buyers will get a fully specified cab, which includes twin captain’s seats, a 12in touchscreen infotainment system, air-conditioning and cruise control as standard.

Other standard features include a Thule 3.5m wind-out awning, an exterior sliding door flyscreen and a Truma 100W flexible solar panel.

The Endeavour’s comprehensive specification also includes cab air-conditioning and cruise control, as well as the Truma Combi diesel heating and hot water system.
