Nestled in the Fenland countryside, Fields End Water is a two-time recipient of the AA Campsite of the Year award for the Heart of England, in 2014 and 2023. This tranquil adults-only (18+) holiday park, renowned for its dog-friendly atmosphere, offers an idyllic escape. Affiliated with the Caravan and Motorhome Club, Fields End Water welcomes all campers, whether Club members or not.

As a family-run haven away from major roads and flight paths, Fields End Water provides a serene retreat for camping enthusiasts and fishing aficionados alike. Boasting three carp fishing lakes, the park is designed to ensure a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.

Exploring the local area, unwinding in nature, or indulging in carp fishing – the park accommodates all needs. The on-site fishing lakes, featuring a variety of fish species, offer a peaceful angling experience complemented by an on-site bait shop.

Campsite owner, Charlie Boughton, tells us more…

How long have you been running your campsite?

I started building it in August 2008, and most winters we make additions and upgrades. We now have 80 fully serviced pitches, an additional fishing lake, six luxury lodges, four glamping pods, three facility blocks, reception/shop, café and, hopefully in 2024, a bar on site.

How did you first become owners of the site?

My father is a farmer, and I wasn’t interested in farming, so used some of the land and two of the existing irrigation lakes to set up the holiday park. I never knew I wanted to do this until I started building, but I was hooked and I became very passionate about becoming one of the best adults-only caravan parks in the country.
