Licence fee surcharges for widebeam boats heads the news this month. The Boat Test, is another hybrid, this one being built by Stone Bespoke Narrow Boats and it’s called Albert Ross. Next we have a feature on the restoration of the Manchester Bolton and Bury canal. We then have our Cruise Guide featuring the River Soar section of the Grand Union Leicester Line followed by Cruise Guide Extra which traces Leicester’s lost Forest Line.
