LKQ Euro Car Parts introduces unlimited mileage warranty

► LKQ Euro Car Parts has launched an unlimited mileage warranty across its range of steering and suspension products, giving customers greater protection at no additional cost.

The new guarantee is available exclusively through LKQ Euro Car Parts and will be implemented across its in-house Starline and Optimal brands, as well as brands like Sachs, Monroe and Bilstein.

The unlimited mileage warranty sits alongside the existing manufacturer warranty, removing mileage restrictions that are typically considered an industry standard. This means drivers won’t have to worry about exceeding a certain distance before the manufacturer’s warranty term ends – and means garages can offer customers additional peace of mind, at no extra cost. Other key developments on the Starline range of steering and suspension products include the extension of the existing manufacturer warranty from three years to four, and the introduction of a complete and ready-to-fit coil suspension strut assembly – a market-first that will improve driver safety while helping garages save labour time and costs.

The completed coil strut means there’s no need for workshops to use a spring compressor and create unnecessary safety concerns that may arise from a damaged top mount bearing or a worn shock absorber failing while changing the coil spring.

Colin Cottrell, marketing director at LKQ Euro Car Parts, said: “If a customer drives away feeling confident about the quality, performance and longevity of their new parts, then they’re more likely to come back to a garage with repeat business.

And now for the first time, Harris takes us down the road of his life-long obsession with the automobile. From the six-yearold who could recite the stats from What Car? magazine to the YouTube car guru whose honest reviews got him banned by Ferrari. From the Scalextric track of his childhood, to podiums as a racing driver out in the world. From behind his g
