Beacon Cottage is part of a traditional working Cornish family farm. The site is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the South West Coast Path passing by, and the iconic remains of Wheal Coates and Chapel Porth beach just a short walk away.
The campsite is peaceful and uncommercialised, divided into six small landscaped paddocks, two of which have spectacular coastal views, while others are surrounded by trees and shrubs offering shelter for those who prefer it. The modern facilities are located in converted farm buildings, and centrally located for all the camping paddocks.
The cathedral city of Truro is just 10 miles away, and the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and Tate Gallery in St Ives are all within easy reach.
