Divorce can rip a family apart. But can it drive you to kill?

Married for 13 years

Timothy Bliefnick had the touch of a local celebrity about him when he appeared on Family Feud in 2020.

Dressed up in his smartest suit and bow tie, Timothy was joined by a few family members.

Talking to the host, Steve Harvey, Timothy explained he had a party of support waiting at home for him.

And this included his wife Becky and their three young sons.

However, as part of the game, Steve asked Timothy what his worst mistake was on his wedding night.

‘Saying I do,’ Timothy said. The audience let out a mix of gasps and laughter and Steve Harvey stared ahead with a deadpan expression.

With a hangdog look on his face, Timothy rushed to say that he loved Becky.

‘Honey, I love you,’ he went on to tell the camera.

Becky was ready to build Transformers Halloween costumes that could actually transform.

And she was not afraid of getting her hands dirty when it came to frog hunting and fishing.

Becky and Timothy had been married for 13 years.

With Timothy also a football coach of a local children’s team, they seemed like a typical all-American family.

But things were not as they seemed.

Perhaps Timothy really did regret saying, ‘I do’ at his wedding.

Because the couple were unhappy.

Timothy could be volatile, and Becky allegedly told friends that he could be physiologically abusive, too.

But she wanted to stay together for the sake of her children.

Only in early 2021, the marriage had broken down and the couple filed for divorce, with Timothy moving out of the family home.

But this was no amicable split.

Becky had filed a restraining order against Timothy and his father, with Timothy then attempting to do the same thing back.

And what followed was a very bitter custody battle.

According to Becky’s divorce attorney, Timothy was to pay $2,100 in maintenance and $472 for child support per month.

However, Timothy reportedly tol
