80TH MEMBERS’ MEET GOODWOOD MOTOR CIRCUIT, NR. CHICHESTER, WEST SUSSEX PO18 0PH. SATURDAY 15 – SUNDAY 16 APRIL

Racing machinery from across the decades are set to descend on Goodwood for the 80th Members’ Meet, so what can you expect from this famous two day celebration of speed?

Racing isn’t the only thing on the schedule with some fantastic demonstrations also taking to the track including the Brabham BT52, claimed to be able to generate more than 1000bhp from its 1.5 litre inline-four engine. The BT52 could lap the track in less than a minute in test sessions. GT1 racers from 2001 are also set to to lap the track with a feast for the eyes of cars from the era of the Aston Martin DBR9, Chevrolet Corvette, Saleen S7-R and Maserati MC12 to name but a few.

Gordon Spice Trophy

A gaggle of Group 1 touring cars from 1972 through to 1980 are returning to the Goodwood Circuit but now under a new name. Formerly the Gerry Marshall Trophy, the race has been re-branded for the 80th Member’s Meet in honour of Gordon Spice, who passed away in 2021. Racing here will be spread across the weekend with three races and a finale.

Moss Trophy

Honouring ‘Mr Goodwood’ himself, the Moss Trophy sees closed-cockpit GT Cars from the 1958-62 period of GT racing take to the track with a shorter sprint race than the longer RAC TT familiar to Revival fans. E-types, Cobras, TVRs and Healeys are expected to make up the grid. Oh, yes please!

Threlfall Cup

Low tier single seaters are the starting point for many of motor sport’s greatest names, and a collection of front-engined Formula Junior cars are braced and ready to race at Goodwood.

Jim Clark Trophy

Celebrating 60 years since the launch of the Lotus Cortina, the Member’s Meet will host a 45 minute race for these twin-cam legends. Clark famously won the British Saloon Car Championship in a Cortina and won almost every race he contested behind the wheel of a Ford-built saloon.

SF Edge Trophy

After a year away, the SF Edge Trophy returns for a frenzy of pre-war specials tackling the track. Two short, sharp sprints are on the running order for the 80th MM with the Fiat S76, aka the ‘Beast of Turin’ making the line-up.
