Fittingly-priced at £75, this well-bound 336-page coffee table tome presents a brilliantly detailed history of motor sport at Goodwood spanning three-quarters of a century. From the circuit’s origins and first event using the perimeter track of the WW2 RAF Westhampnett airfield through to the first Festival of Speed in 1993 and the debut of the Revival in 1998 and onto the present day, the level of information included across the eras is impressive and the stories recounted by recognisable names enthralling. The stellar photography lifts the book to be a special thing to enjoy and pore over. Then this could be just the thing if you’re festive gift-shopping for a classic motor sport fan.

Tony Buller continues his excellent limited edition series of curated star cars from The Professionals TV series with the latest release being UOO 303T – Bodie's Capri 3.0S MkIII. It’s based on Corgi’s Capri but, not satisfied with the original Corgi produced rims, Tony has spent considerable money getting the wheels re-tooled with the end result being a perfect replica. Once again, there is incredible attention to detail; pattern-matched Recaro front seats, exact interior, immaculate tempo print and Strato Silver colour scheme. Along with bespoke packaging and certification, such elements have become default for this series.
