Classic Car Auctions is gearing up for a big new sale at one of northern England’s most impressive shows later this summer as it looks to expand

One of the biggest classic shows in the north of England has revealed that it is to hold a two-day auction for the first time.

The Classic &Performance Car Spectacular show, based at Tatton Park in Cheshire, has teamed up with Classic Car Auctions to run the auction on 1-2 June. The event has been running for more than 35 years, and already attracts at least 2000 classics, including displays from 90- plus clubs and an area for individual exhibitors which has in the past brought 200 vehicles together.

‘We’re hoping to get a nice response to it because we’re excited to get involved. It’s a lovely venue. They do three large shows a year there and we’ll have a presence at each of them. We’re going to go along to the US-themed Stars &Stripes and the later Passion for Power show as ourselves to present to those audiences but this will be our first go. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for quite a while, to
