Minor owners may have things a little easier than many when it comes to re-builds and renovations thanks to their cars’ simplicity and excellent parts supply. But there are still plenty of pitfalls and perils, and this manual tackles them all in highly informative detail. It covers different aspects – ie. bodywork, paintwork, engines, gearbox, etc – in separate chapters and also includes convertibles, commercials and Travellers (with their all-important structural woodwork). The words are all very comprehensive but where the book also wins out is with its crisp and clear imagery, making it easier to follow what’s being discussed in the text. This should be a major part of any Minor owner’s armoury – whether currently taking on a restoration or if it’s something a few years away.
