Classic car YouTubers’ inaugural event had an atmosphere unlike those of more traditional shows
The British Motor Museum at Gaydon welcomed anew automotive show, Rustival last weekend (9 March).
In practising what they preach, the four YouTubers behind this groundbreaking event – Carly Spencer and Ian Seabrook of HubNut, Matt Richardson of Furiousdriving and Steph Hoy of Idriveaclassic – assembled a dazzling array of machinery that has likely never been seen in one place before.
The extensive parking contained pretty much everything from a Ferrari F12 to a Perodua Nippa and the museum’s events manager, Tom Caren, confirmed that they had welcomed 875 cars and around 2500 people: ‘That’s very impressive numbers for a first gathering and what a great array of cars as well. I’m also pleased because our staff really enjoyed working the event because of its joyous spirit.’
