A national celebration of classics gets underway this weekend. There are plenty of Drive-It Day events, meets, shows and displays on up and down the country – and we’ve gathered together 40 options for joining in the fun with your vehicle
Drive -It Day Pitstop
Wrentham Chapel, Chapel Rd, Wrentham, Beccles, Suffolk NR34 7LT. 10am-4pm. One for those of you out and venturing on Sunday. Wrentham Chapel in Suffolk is welcoming classic cars and drivers for free light refreshments through the day.

April Scramble

Classic & Historic Motor Club Drive
Start: Five Zeroes Supercars, The Old Dairy Kingston Farm, Bradford-on-Avon BA15 1TS. 9:30am. A road run, with lunch, from the start of the art, supercar-laden barn in Bradford-on-Avon, to The Mill at Rode for lunch. Dalemain Meet
Dalemain, Cumbria, CA11 0HB. 10am-2pm. A regular host of classic events, Dalemain’s sumptuous grounds offer a perfect location to take a pause while putting on the miles for charity. Entry is a £5 charity donation entry. ■ wigtonmc.co.uk
Bodle Street Green Charity Gathering & Road Run
Bodle Street Green Village Hall and White Horse Inn, Hailsham, East Sussex BN27 4RE. Over 250 vehicles rocked up to this bustling stop last year. With eight model railways on display, plus breakfasts and lunches available through the day as well as a good spread of parking options. If you’d rather, there’s even an organised road run that forms part of their event. UVOCC Scenic Drive
Start: Glenarm. A run along the Antrim coast with the UVOCC joined by the Northern Ireland Italian Motor Club, as well as any classic car enthusiasts to purchase the Rally Plaque and join us. For more details, join their Facebook Group
