When Evelyn Miller discovered her body was different to everyone else’s, she was determined to make the most of it…
Growing up,Evelyn wondered if something was wrong with her. Whenever she got her period, she couldn’t understand why she still bled, even though she was using a tampon. And as she got older and started having sex, it felt different for her every time.
Evelyn, now 31, says, “I lived with my dad, so things like periods and vaginas weren’t the usual topic of conversation in our household. I just thought that was the way it was.”
But she never could have predicted the cause of her issues – that she had been born with two vaginas and two wombs. Evelyn says, “I’m unique. I don’t know anyone else with the same condition. Now, I love to make the most of my unusual body.”
In 2012, Evelyn fell pregnant unexpectedly aged 20, and made the decision to get a termination. It was then that everything was revealed.
SHOCKED
She recalls, “At the clinic, the doctor couldn’t find the embryo. They sent me for a scan, then sat me down and told me that I had a rare condition called uterus didelphys. It meant I had two vaginas and two uteruses, which was why they couldn’t find the embryo at first – they’d been looking in the wrong womb. I was stunned.”
She adds, “Boyfriends had never said anything, but at that age, I guess they didn’t know much about a woman’s anatomy! As the shock subsided, I felt relieved. I finally knew why everything felt so different for me.
“After that, I discovered having two vaginas made my sex life a lot of fun. Both vaginas felt very different, so I found out what I liked and didn’t like on each side. I preferred using the right vagina, though it depended on the size and shape of the guy.”
NOVELTY
Rather than surprising men in the heat of the moment, Evelyn decided it was better to tell them about her unusual anatomy beforehand. She says, “Most didn’t believe me until I showed them for myself! It was quite the novelty.” There were downsides too, though. She says, “I had to use double the amount of tampons every month, putting in two at a time. I also needed two smear tests, and two STI tests.”
After a relationship breakdown, Evelyn became a professional escort. And her unusual body came in handy for her new line of work.
She explains, “I could use one vagina for my escorting work, and one for my personal life. It was a great way to keep my work and private life separated, which helped me both emotionally and physically.”
