REAL LIFE

Unlike most other jobs, Livi Shelby’s work involves seducing other women’s partners and getting paid for it

Opening up Instagram, Livi clicks the “follow” button, knowing that another cheating boyfriend is about to be exposed and his poor girlfriend’s heart will be broken. But that’s the nature of her job as a professional honeytrapper – she tests other people’s partners to see if they will do the dirty. Much like the Pied Piper, Livi lures in hundreds of rats, but instead of a pipe, a cheeky Instagram DM is her bait. Livi was so successful at exposing unfaithful boyfriends, she set up her own honeytrapping agency. She says, “I don’t feel bad for breaking up relationships – I’m just revealing a cheater’s true nature and, most of the time, the problems in the relationship started well before I got involved.”

Livi’s videos went viral on TikTok

LOYALTY

Livi, 20, from Cheshire, says, “Scrolling through TikTok one day, a honeytrapper posted about her work, where girls would message wanting to put their boyfriend’s loyalty to the test. They’d pass on their man’s social media accounts and the honeytrapper would follow them, slide into their DMs and see if they took the bait.” A curious Livi wanted to give it a go and promoted herself on TikTok, offering a “service” to test boyfriends over Instagram, and was an instant success. She says,

“One time, a girl contacted me whose boyfriend had cheated on her in the past and after he followed me back, I asked him ‘Do you have a girlfriend?’ to which he replied, ‘No, I’m single’. I forwarded his message to his girlfriend, who replied saying that she was in the same room as him when he sent that – what a snake! Men were falling for it hook, line and sinker! I didn’t ask for any payment for my honeytrapping, I just asked permission to post the results on my TikTok, with names deleted.”

EVIDENCE

Soon, Livi’s videos were getting millions of views and she was flooded with requests. She says, “One girl explained that her boyfriend treated her badly and she wanted one piece of evidence that proved his disloyalty, so that she could walk away.”

Livi doesn’t feel bad about breaking up relationships

Livi contacted him and they got chatting. As expected, his messages were peppered with kisses and heart emojis. She says, “He told me that he worked as a night manager at Tesco, but when I told his girlfriend she scoffed and said he’d lied – he was actually a cashier. I then asked him if he was single and he replied, ‘If I had a girlfriend, hun, I wouldn’t have replied to you’, before following up with, ‘I just focus on work and bettering myself as a person’. I thought, ‘Oh, puh-lease!’ I sent all the eviden
