As she returns to our screens for the latest series of I’m A Celeb, Closer looks back at the wild life of Janice Dickinson
It’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years since Janice Dickinson first entered the I’m A Celebrity! jungle back in 2007, but the no-nonsense supermodel has been back on our screens for the ITV show’s All Stars edition, filmed for the first time in South Africa.
Viewers delighted in her hilarious banter with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, and cringed as the former America’s Next Top Model presenter, 68, vomited her way through dishes such as “Lamb Dan Sack” and “Spaghetti bollock-naise” during her first Bushtucker Trial. Going back into the jungle has seen her reunite with Ant & Dec, and despite confessing, “I can’t remember which one is which”, Janice soon set her sights on Dec, who she is famed for furiously flirting with during her last appearance.
At the time, before Dec married Ali Astall in 2015, she said, “Who was the one without the wife? Dec. Oh, I still have the hots for little Dec. He’s got that wild look in his eyes, trust me. I really wanted to snog him, he was so hot. I’m telling you – give me that little one and I’ll show him a good time.”
However, despite her flirty exchanges with the duo, Janice is happily settled down with her husband, Dr Robert “Rocky” Gerner, who she married in 2016, after decades of turbulence in her love life.
After rising to fame as a world-famous supermodel in the ’70s, Janice – who spent years battling with drugs and alcohol – confessed to having slept with around 1,000 men.
In 2012, she said, “I was the wildest model ever. Famous people wanted to sleep with me.”
OUTBURSTS
Some of the celebs she’s met under the covers reportedly include Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty, Mick Jagger and Sylvester Stallone, who she labelled as “weird” after alleging that he dressed as an army officer for sex and “shot his gun off in the back yard a lot”.
But the highest praise went to Liam Neeson, who Janice divulged had “the biggest penis of any man alive”.
She joked, “He unzipped his pants and an Evian bottle fell out. It was insane! Wouldn't you just go gaga? He was amazing!”
