Kelly Brook speaks to Closer about her first year of marriage with husband Jeremy Parisi, how she’s accepted her body and why she’s embracing ageing
She’s had her fair share of high-profileromances, previously dating actors Billy Zane, Jason Statham and rugby star Danny Cipriani. But last summer, Kelly Brook found her happily ever after when she tied the knot with partner Jeremy Parisi, and now tells Closer that she’s loved every minute!
Kelly, 43 – who lives with Italian-born Jeremy, 37, in an idyllic country house in Kent – says, “We try to keep our relationship fun! We don’t get too serious. Quality time is a big thing for us too and we always try to make time for each other. We want to travel the world and recently we explored Texas, which was incredible.”
PRESSURE
Model, actress and presenter Kelly – who rose to fame in the ’90s as a Page Three girl before turning to TV, presenting The Big Breakfast and Celebrity Love Island, and acting, starring in Smallville and Agatha Christie’s Marple – met martial arts instructor Jeremy after she took up judo as a fun way to work out in 2014.
The pair dated for seven years before secretly getting engaged in October 2021, and eventually married in a lavish ceremony in Italy in July 2022.
Speaking about her husband, Kelly says, “The way to my heart is through food, and luckily Jeremy is a brilliant cook.”
Throughout her career Kelly has modelled for both men and women’s magazines and, in the past, she’s spoken about the pressure that she felt to stay slim, saying, “I’m curvy now! When I was modelling I was tiny. I was a stick with t**s. But my modelling career was in the 1990s, when the waif look was in.”
