It’s been nearly two decades since they starred as lovers in the film Rumor Has It together, but following his divorce news earlier this month, actor Kevin Costner and Jennifer Aniston could be set to reunite.
Kevin, 68, was rumoured to have dated Jen’s good friend Courteney Cox in the ’90s, but married his wife, designer Christine Baumgartner, in 2004, a year before Jennifer, 54, split from her first husband, Brad Pitt.

However, earlier this month, dad-of-seven Kevin was left shocked when Christine filed for divorce – amove that sources say was prompted by his hectic work schedule taking him away from the family home they share with their three children, Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12, in Santa Barbara. And now a source reveals that, after going through two high-profile divorces herself, Jennifer is keen to reconnect with her former co-star.
The insider says, “Jen feels so badly for Kevin and the trauma he’s going through right now. He may seem like this tough, macho figure on the surface, but Jen knows from spending time with him that he’s one of the good guys who always puts his family first. Being dumped out of the blue must have been a life-changing shock.
“Kevin helped her through her divorce from Brad and she’d like to return the favour, but timing is everything. Her heart really goes out to him and if she could offer any advice or be there for him in person, she absolutely would.”
