Just over a year after the emotional drama of eldest son Brooklyn tying the knot with Nicola Peltz, Victoria Beckham hopes her second child, Romeo, will get hitched soon

They’re one of the most famous families in the world and notoriously close – but the Beckham clan has been mired in upset over the past year after the marriage of Posh and Becks’ eldest son, Brooklyn.

Though once super-close to her son, Victoria in particular is said to have struggled amid rumours of friction with Brooklyn’s wife, actress and socialite Nicola Peltz.

But now, insiders say that the doting mum has turned her attention to her second son, Romeo, with hopes that he and girlfriend Mia Regan can carry a torch for “Brand Beckham”.

While Posh has reportedly struggled to bond with Nicola – who famously claimed her mother-in-law’s offer to design her wedding dress came to nothing – sources close to the 49-year-old fashionista say that Victoria is absolutely smitten with model Mia and is keen for her middle child to pop the question very soon.

“Although they’re young, Vic doesn’t see why they can’t go ahead, as she and David were in their mid-20s when they married. She feels that they’ve been going strong for four years now which proves they’re both ready for marriage. And though they’ve split up before, they got back together which proves they’re meant to be.

“She absolutely adores Mia and would love her to join the Beckham family, but she is also desperately craving the pomp and pageantry of another family wedding – and this time one that she has a lot more involvement with.”

In April last year, Brooklyn, 24, married Nicola in an extravagant £3 million ceremony at her father’s £79 million estate in Palm Beach, Florida. But rather than be a happy occasion for all involved, the day was allegedly
