After a break from her TV career, insiders say Holly Willoughby is considering a whole new path…

She revealed that she was taking a step back from her TV career for the foreseeable, recently quitting This Morning after a tumultuous series of events that insiders say have left Holly Willoughby on the verge of a complete change of career.

And insiders tell Closer that the 42 year old – who already runs wellness and lifestyle company Wylde Moon – is looking into a new role in coaching and therapy.

Our source says, “Holly’s had a rollercoaster year and everything that’s happened has changed what she wants out of life. She adores presenting, but the journey she’s been on emotionally has made her think about other things. Holly’s always loved giving advice and the phone-ins were one of her favourite parts of This Morning, plus she’s always seen among her friends as the go-to for advice so she’s been thinking of life coaching or training as a therapist of some sort.

“With everything she’s been through, Holly’s really felt the benefits of mindfulness and talking to others about how she’s feeling. It’s also made her question her life in the spotlight and she’d maybe like to live a bit more low-key, with a primary focus on helping others.”

Presenter and comedian Joel Dommett recently revealed that he’d been getting parenting advice from Holly, after welcoming his first child, son Wilde, in September with wife Hannah Cooper.

DIFFICULT DECISION

He shared, “Holly gave me some lovely advice and said, ‘All you’ve got to do is love them’. And I think that’s the best advice you can have really.”

Joel’s comments came just weeks after Holly posted a statement to announce that she was leaving This Morning, revealing that she wanted to prioritise her husband of 16 years, Dan Baldwin, and their three children – Harry, 14, Belle, 12, and Chester, nine. In the note, Holly said, “Sadly, I now feel I have to make this decision for me and my family.”

Her difficult year included former best pal and co-host Phillip Schofield sensationally quitting the show in May due to his “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague becoming public. Holly was later cruelly trolled after insisting she had not known about the affair.

Before that she was also embroiled in ‘Queuegate’ with thousands of irate fans calling for her and Phil to be axed when they appeared to skip the queue for the lying-in-state of the Queen last September.

While the mum-of-three has taken a step back from TV, she still has her Wylde Moon platform, which she set up in September 2021. Through the site, Holly offers life advice and sells self-care products.
