The actress has been shocked by news of her ex’s new family member – but she’s determined to push through
Actor Tom Ellis revealed that he’d welcomed his fourth child with wife Meaghan Oppenheimer last week, nine years after splitting with ex-wife Tamzin Outhwaite.
And insiders say that despite being happily loved-up with new man Tom Child, the news has rocked Tamzin, 53.
A source says, “While Tamzin has moved on and is happy, the news of Tom’s new baby still stung. She’s hurt, which is understandable considering Tom walked out on her and their kids. She’s only human, but she’s determined to be better not bitter and move forward.”
Tamzin and Miranda actor Tom, 44, tied the knot in 2006, after a year of dating, before going on to welcome daughters Florence, 14, and Marnie, 10.

But fans were left shocked in 2014 when the pair split after eight years of marriage – with Tom allegedly confessing to cheating with Australian actress Emilie de Ravin whilst working on US TV show Once Upon A Time.
Their divorce was finalised the following year, and Tamzin went on to speak out about the split. In an interview in 2015, Tamzin hinted that Tom had had an affair – rather than just a fling – saying, “I wouldn’t not be with my husband over a one-night stand.”
Since then, Tom has married actress and producer Meaghan, with the pair heading down the aisle in a star-studded ceremony in 2019. They welcomed their daughter Dolly via surrogate on 8 November 2023.
