Insiders say Amanda Holden has been left reeling and humiliated after her ex spoke out

She’s become one of the UK’s most successful TV stars, with a flourishing presenting career, a happy marriage and two daughters set to follow in her showbiz footsteps.

But last week, Amanda Holden’s painful past came back to haunt her when actor Neil Morrissey – with whom she famously had an affair in 2000 while married to comedian Les Dennis, 70 – made a crude joke about the fling, which led to the breakdown of her seven-year marriage and left her career hanging in the balance.
