Reality star Charlotte Crosby tells Closer why she’s doing the festive season a bit differently
She’s had a life-changing 14 months, becoming a mum to Alba Jean and getting engaged to her boyfriend, Jake Ankers. And speaking to Closer about her daughter’s second Christmas, Charlotte Crosby explains why she won’t be getting a visit from Father Christmas.
“I don’t think we’re going to get her any presents – we are all off presents,” the former Geordie Shore star says. “We’re doing things a bit differently. We’re all flying to the Maldives on Christmas Day – I’m taking everyone. That’s our present. We’ll wake up Christmas morning and head to the airport – me, Jake, my mum, dad and brother.”

She adds, “We lost my nanna last year and Christmas without her was absolutely horrendous, it just wasn’t the same. Normally, it’s a small affair, and it was really horrible, so we vowed this year would be completely different.”
This will be Charlotte’s first Christmas as a fiancée, after businessman Jake, 32, popped the question in Dubai at the beginning of November.
“Happiest woman in the world,” the 33-year-old wrote on Instagram, “Yes yes yes and yes @jake_ankers you are my best friend you are my life. I can’t believe I’m engaged!”
