Despite her looming divorce battle with Paddy, insiders say that Christine McGuinness is looking and feeling sexier than ever
It’s been 18 months since they announced their shock split in July 2022, and last week Christine and Paddy McGuinness officially began divorce proceedings.
And with an insider recently telling Closer how Christine, 35, had been left “hurt and humiliated” over news earlier this month that Paddy is planning a “mockumentary” about their divorce, the mum-of-three admitted she was struggling – telling fans on social media that she’d been feeling “lost”.
However, after posing for a series of sexy snaps of behind the scenes on a photo shoot two days after she and Paddy, 50, were expected in court, a source tells Closer that Christine is adamant that revenge is a dish best served hot.
The insider says, “Christine loves dressing up and making herself feel sexy. She’s been through so much this year, now she just wants to celebrate herself.
“Despite everything that’s happened, she still knows that she’s a sexy, young woman who has a happy future ahead of her. She loves photo shoots and dolling herself up is a real confidence boost.”

Dressed in a short black dress with a plunging neckline, accessorised with black stilettos and her blonde waves, Christine was inundated with adoring comments from male fans, who called her “absolutely stunning", “a sexy woman” and “a goddess”.
But despite revealing last month that Paddy – with whom she shares 10-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and daughter Felicity, seven – has started dating again, the source says Christine feels daunted over starting a new relationship.
Christine first met Paddy in 2007 when she was just 19 and the couple were married in 2011.
Following their split she was rumoured to have formed a close bond with singer Chelcee Grimes after The Games co-stars were spotted kissing during a girls’ break to Ibiza in August, but a month later the pair appeared to unfollow each other on social media.
Now the insider adds, “Christine’s main priority is always her children and she’s not ready for the dating game yet but she hopes that eventually, she’ll find someone special.
“Her friends have been joking that she’ll be going on hot dates in no time. She’s only ever really dated Paddy so the whole idea of it is overwhelming but she knows that life is going to move on.”
