As Kerry Katona recovers from her latest painful operation, insiders say fiancé Ryan Mahoney has concerns and is reassuring his wife-to-be that she’s perfect the way she is
Revealing her latest cosmetic procedure last week, Kerry Katona’s appearance shocked fans as she showed off her swollen face and heavily-stitched black eyes in pics posted on social media.
Undergoing a procedure called “blepharoplasty” – which aims to cut out excess skin on a patient’s eyelids –Kerry, 43, admitted the surgery had left her in “so much pain” after she accidentally scratched her cornea coming out of theatre. Laying in a hospital bed and struggling with her sight, Kerry also admitted that her children – Molly, 22, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 15, and nine-year old DJ – were “quite against” surgery and that Max had “freaked” when he saw his mum’s appearance during a FaceTime call.
CONCERNED
And now insiders say those around her – including fiancé Ryan Mahoney, 35 – are concerned after Kerry vowed to undergo yet more surgery later this year.
An insider says, “Whenever Kerry has an operation it’s a tense time for all those around her because they worry about the horror stories you hear where things go wrong.
“Ryan loves Kerry for being Kerry and thinks she’s perfect how she is, but he also appreciates that it’s her body and she can do what she likes with it, so he doesn’t try to stop her. It’s just heartbreaking watching her go through so much pain.
“But he always makes sure he talks to her about any procedure and finds out what’s involved. And he does worry and has fears when she goes in for the operations, as any partner would.”
INTENSE WORKOUT
While the OnlyFans star’s confidence has gone through the roof after dropping 3½st last year through healthy eating and an intense workout routine, her transformation from a size 16 to a size 8 hasn’t stopped her from wanting more “nips and tucks”.
After undergoing numerous cosmetic surgeries over the past two decades since her first boob job back in 2004, Kerry has admitted her body has been pulled apart and put together so many times that it resembles a “flat pack from Ikea”.
Her previous surgeries have included several boob jobs, two tummy tucks and over £15,000 on liposuction, as well as non-surgical procedures like a “vampire face lift”, Botox and jawline tightening.
And while she’s been sharing her weight-loss updates with fans on social media as she continues to work out using a fitness app and in the home gym of her Cheshire mansion, Kerry admitted in December that she will also be undergoing a nose job this year after being told by a surgeon that her nose had “collapsed” due to cocaine use – despite not using drugs for 15 years.
