Areal-life Dr Doolittle, in episode one (of four) prepare to be staggered by chicken chat (why has Petal stopped laying eggs?), plus there’s Yogi the dog who won’t go walkies. She also asks cat Arya (on behalf of its owners) if she’d mind being cloned, and meets Misty the ferret who may be ready for love… Ace!

Ashorter series than normal, but Love Island: All Stars has certainly brought the drama – thanks to former faves such as Georgia Steel, Toby Aromolaran, Arabella Chi and Callum Jones all returning. As Closer went to press, a number of relationships were still very much in the air, but there’s still time for the sparks to fly before presenter Maya Jama announces the winner – and £50k is up for grabs, just like in the regular show.
