Insiders say that Gemma Collins has had a spiritual awakening – and it’s made her re-evaluate her future with Rami Hawash
She celebrated her 43rd birthday last week with a romantic holiday in the Maldives alongside her fiancé, Rami Hawash.
Showing off the idyllic resort in a series of envy-inducing Instagram snaps, Gemma Collins – who’s previously opened up about her “spiritual journey” – told her 22 million Instagram followers, “43 TODAY NAMASTE. NO REGRETS. Come to the Maldives to re-connect with nature and ground myself for the year ahead and to continue my soul purpose.”
In another post, tagged at a meditation retreat, Gemma – aka “The GC” – said, “Eat, LOVE PRAY NAMASTE.
“Whilst I’m this side of the world I’m really thinking about going to India. I’ve always wanted to go and it’s 3 hours from here?? Shall I just do it I could work with the elephants continue my spiritual journey.”
And as the former TOWIE star prepares to resume fertility treatment this month – vowing, “Hopefully, in 2024, The GC’s child will be born” – insiders say turning to spirituality has helped the star let go of negative energy and focus on her goal of becoming a mum.

A source says, “Gemma’s really embraced her spiritual side over the last year and it’s had a hugely positive impact. both mentally and physically.
“It’s helped change her entire outlook on life and instead of harbouring bitterness and anger over things not going as planned, through meditation and the spiritual world she’s learnt to forgive, manage her stress and anxiety, build deeper connections with loved ones as well as giving her a newfound sense of purpose.
