1 COMIC RELIEF: FUNNY FOR MONEY

In what will be his last year hosting the show, Sir Lenny Henry is joined by Joel Dommett, Davina McCall, Paddy McGuinness, Romesh Ranganathan, and David Tennant – with Maya Jama and Rosie Ramsey making their Red Nose Day debut. Highlights include Alan Partridge returning to our airwaves, and The Traitors: The Movie. Vital funds will be raised for important causes, with a special show dedicated to Sir Lenny’s 39 years of Comic Relief airing on BBC1 (at 10.40pm).

5 INTERIOR DESIGN MASTERS WITH ALAN CARR

Each week, 10 contestants are challenged to produce their own line of home furnishings in the hope of impressing interior design guru Michelle Ogundehin. They’re given free rein to revamp commercial spaces across the UK (turning former nuns’ cells into B&Bs, rehauling activity centres at Chester Zoo, transforming Wembley dressing rooms and remodelling holiday lodges at Blenheim Palace). On hosting duties is Alan Carr, who promises “eye-popping design” and exciting locations.

It’s official! Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley are the new hosts of This Morning after taking over from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, who quit last year. For the past 10 years, Ben has been waking up with the ITV daytime audience on Good Morning Britain, while former SMTV host Cat lived in America for 15 years, moving back to London at the beginning of the pandemic (and returning to LA temporarily to front So You Think You Can Dance). Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary will continue to host on Fridays and during school holidays. Bring it on!
