The actress is hoping for closure as their blended family grows
Ten years on from their divorce, Kym Marsh and Jamie Lomas surprised fans last week when they were snapped together enjoying a meal for their daughter Polly’s 13th birthday.
Enjoying the night out, Kym, 47, even shared a sweet snap of her blended family which included Jamie, 48, his fiancée Jess Bell, Kym’s mum Pauline and Kym’s two eldest children, David and Emilie Cunliffe, from her previous relationship with Dave Cunliffe.

According to sources, the dinner was all part of Kym’s plan to let go of any bad feeling over how things ended between her and Hollyoaks actor Jamie.
Insiders tell Closer, “Kym has found it healing to build bridges again with Jamie. At one point she thought she and Jamie would never speak again.
“Only Kym and Jamie know the full truth about what went on in their marriage. Kym feels as though neither of them were angels –hence her filing for divorce and citing Jamie’s ‘unreasonable behaviour’ – but then it was Kym who was suspected of having an affair with her Coronation Street co-star Oliver Mellor, an accusation she denies. She’s told pals that she’s not proud of the way things ended and there’s a lot that she regrets, but having spent years apart she now looks back at the good times they had and a shining light is their daughter Polly.”
The source continues, “Kym has stopped beating herself up over past mistakes she’s made and she’s forgiven Jamie for his behaviour too. She would like them to have a good co-parenting relationship for the sake of Polly and she hopes that they can let bygones be bygones.”
