After years of cocaine abuse, the star is set to go under the knife once again in a bid to fix her damaged nose
Just a few months after undergoing a dramatic eye lift, Closer can reveal that Kerry Katona has already made plans to go under the knife again in the next few weeks.
The former Atomic Kitten star has revealed that she wants to get her nose fixed following a conversation with a doctor who revealed that her nose was collapsing due to excessive cocaine use in the past.
And sources reveal that Kerry, 43, is planning on going under the knife imminently.
FEELING GOOD
They tell Closer, “Kerry’s booked the operation to go ahead this month with a surgeon she trusts. She’s wanted to have this procedure for years and feels like now’s the time to do it – she’s worked really hard on herself recently and feels the best she’s ever felt. She’s got a new body, she’s feeling strong and positive, she’s got a wedding coming up, she’s rebuilt her life and so now she wants to finally get this done.”
Following her rise to fame at the age of 18 with Atomic Kitten, Kerry struggled in the spotlight and turned to drinking and drug usage. Both of which landed her in rehab several times. In 2007 Kerry married taxi driver Mark Croft, who she claimed was her drug dealer, saying just last month, “Coke was my poison and plus I married my drug dealer because I thought I would get it a bit cheaper. Cocaine became my only friend – it was all I had.” Mark has, however, denied these claims.
Eventually Kerry’s cocaine use began affecting her career and in 2009, Iceland and Asda supermarkets cancelled her six-figure advertising campaigns with them after images were released showing the star taking the class-A drug in a bathroom.
Despite this, the I’m A Celebrity! 2004 winner has said that she doesn’t regret any of her past decisions in life, claiming, “I have no regrets. I don’t regret the drugs, I don’t regret the bankruptcies, I don’t regret the husbands. I’ve not made any mistakes –they’ve all been lessons and we’re all human. The only thing is all my lessons have been in the public eye.”
Now, 15 years clean, Kerry has worked hard over the past few years to get her life and career back on track and is finally in a good place, happily loved-up with fiancé Ryan Mahoney. Ryan, 36, and Kerry got engaged in 2020 after two years together, following Kerry’s separation from her third husband, George Kay, in 2015.
