The TV star is on a weight-loss mission as she prepares to tie the knot
Television star Alison Hammond has dropped a whopping 5st and is feeling better than ever – and it’s all down to one person.
The This Morning presenter has been dating Russian massage therapist David Putman since the beginning of this year, which has coincided with her dramatic weight loss.
And pals tell Closer she’s losing the weight to fit into her dream wedding dress. “Alison doesn’t recognise her reflection – she thinks it’s insane. She’s lost almost 5st and is still going strong. She wants to be a sexy bride for her new man,” our source reveals.
“Although she’s not yet engaged, she sees David as The One. It likely won’t be long before they take the next step so she has her sights set on losing a further 3st and wearing the dress of her dreams. She just wants to be a healthy version of herself and she’s definitely moving in the right direction.”

Alison has been open about her body image struggles over the years, attempting to lose weight on shows such as Celebrity Fit Club and Sugar Free Farm – but nothing has been successful, until now.
And not only has Alison, 49, lost a significant amount of weight, but the bubbly presenter is also embracing a more glamorous look – updating her wardrobe by selling off her old size 26 clothes for charity and working more closely with her stylists.
As a result, insiders say that as well as looking great, the This Morning presenter is feeling happier and healthier in herself.
