Lighthouses capture the imagination in a way that few other structures do. For those who prefer to keep their feet dry, these sentinels evoke a keen sense of the romance and adventure of life at sea and a reassuringly benevolent presence when illuminated at night.

For sailors, they are a welcome first sight of safe harbour, while during daylight hours, they act as markers, beacons and, in the case of yacht races, destinations in themselves.

There are over 300 lighthouses around Britain’s shores from rock stations to harbour and breakwater lights, from the most southerly lighthouse on mainland Britain - at Lizard Point in Cornwall - to the most northerly at Muckle Flugga in Shetland.

Inspired by the travel posters of the 1930s and 1940s, the Lighthouse Editions collection includes almost 350 striking prints of iconic and historical lighthouses from across Britain and Ireland. Illustrated by acclaimed artist Roger O’Reilly, the prints are available framed or unframed on 250gsm archival stock in A4 or A3.

You can see the full collection at LighthouseEditions.com.
